WorkWorkshop is a series of hands-on classes that are designed for small groups of people to have a little fun trying something new. Participants will learn some basic techniques and complete a small project. These classes and workshops are aimed at inspiring new ideas and opening the possibilities to future exploration…and it’s a lot of fun!

This is great class for couples, friends, moms, dads kids…basically anyone who can hold a hammer can enjoy this simple intro class and get really creative with designing your own functional piece of metal art. This 2+ hour workshop offers participants the opportunity to pick up a few quick techniques using the anvil, vice and forge to make a few of your own unique bottle openers.

Mig Welding with a Buddy

Welding, with a little help from your friend…

This 3-hour workshop designed for the buddy system, introduces participants to the basics of “Mig” welding and how easy it can be to permanently join two pieces of metal. We will teach the proper welding set up, metal prep, various types of weld joints, clamping, tacking and finishing welds. Each pair of students will have the opportunity to weld together small compositions and begin to develop a working concept of the uses and limitations of the welding process.

This 3 1/2 The BYOW workshop is set up for DIY enthusiasts who have recently purchased their own welding set up but need some pointers and practice to get familiar with their new equipment and learn the basics of MIG welding. We'll also talk about the right tools and prep to work in your space safely.

If you do not have your own equipment you can rent one of our set ups. We also offer assistance with purchasing your own set up as an additional service for starting to learn on your own.

Stone Carving Desktop monuments

In our introduction to stone carving class we’ll be creating big compositions at miniature scale. Using simple rotary tools, small hand chisels, rasps and sandpaper, participants explore a few simple carving techniques to get the hang of working with stone. The workshop is set up so everyone should be able to rough-out at least one palm-sized composition and bring home the beginnings of a tiny masterpiece!

We also offer options to purchase your own kit and stone for carving at home.
